“110 F. in Phoenix is called just another day.”

Yeah, but it’s a dry heat.

And Mississippi - only our/your humidity makes a 88 degree day feel like over 100...when it actually hits 100, it starts to feel hot....

The crushing mass of hot air is likely to blanket the region, home to a third of the U.S. population, through Sunday with little overnight relief, said meteorologist David Roth of the National Weather Service's Weather Prediction Center.

He's just a gigalo...

“Blighting the East?”

What kind of wimps are we (or are the Brits)?

It’s July!

It will only reach 90° F. in Sacramento, CA today. That’s actually cool for a Sacramento summer.

In the Summer it gets hot in D.C. in fact up until the invention of air conditioning D.C. was a diplomatic hardship station and the government would basically shut down during the Summer.

Yeah, but it’s a dry heat.

It used to be, but not since people put lawns around their houses below grade so they could irrigate them with standing water.

52 degrees at the moment (5 am). Is supposed to get to 78 this afternoon. I’m guessing it was 80 yesterday - man it was hot!! (Seattle).

We just got done with our rain - it was a bit late this year. It looks like we will be around 80 and no rain until September and beyond.

I was in D.C. on a job - 100+ degrees and near 100% humidity. Came back with a ruined thyroid. It is miserable in the Swamp. In more ways than one!

It is hot and humid and dangerous. Always has been. And hits the older folks harder. Hopefully they can find respite from the heat.

What a bunch of crybabies.

The media makes it sound like the only people in jeopardy from hot weather are in NYC and DC. Get out of your bubbles people. Millions live with this hot weather daily in the summer.

I lived in Arizona for forty years and experienced extremely hot weather. Played golf, walking one summer afternoon in 122 degree heat. No worse for the wear.

I live in Florida now where hot and humid weather is the norm, not the exception. My wife and I work on our farm daily in 90+ degrees and 90% + humidity.

I'm leaving for my morning walk in a bit. After a 45 minute walk, I will be soaking wet and red-faced hot when I get back home. It's an everyday thing here.

So suck it up and enjoy NYC and DC! The rest of the country call this just another normal summer day.

And we don't want to hear how cold it is this coming winter. It's called winter for a reason.

The media is mostly based in DC and NYC, so all they see and care about is themselves. I lived in NJ for a couple of years and they do get some hot weather, but it doesn’t last long. I grew up on the Texas coast and remember a time where we had to run our A/C units on Christmas Day.

The Midwest planting season was delayed this year due to cool and rain. Did not hear a peep from the climate gestapo.

This is Summer. We get heat waves now and then. Growing up we didn't have AC, but almost everybody now does.

If you live in a city, chances are it's run by demoncraps. So are the utilities in those places. If you lose power, thank a dem,

I grew up without AC. The weather was the same as it is today in July, so stop with the stupid weather stories already. This is leftist propaganda.

The atmospheric cells are a closed loop system like an A/C system. When it gets hot in one location it is extracting and shedding heat from another location making it colder. Right now they are having record cold temps in Russia. So “global warming” is never universal and global, when warmer than normal on one side of the globe it is cooler than normal on the other side.
