What a contrast to our soccer team.
I have never watched this sport before but yes, the black lady was sweet as cane sugar to the white player on defeat. Not sure what she was thinking or mumbling, though.
As a seasoned citizen and an all-star athlete back in the day, I’d like to have my arms look like her guns.
As a single parent living in Centerville, I took my young teenage girls to Western Southern Open in Mason. I was a Pete Sampras fan and, of course, they adored Andre Agassi. (My oldest was named “Andrea” - just a coincidence...I think).
Anyway, we sat up in the top row where they could see the players enter the stadium area. When Agassi arrived, they began screaming in joy...until they saw his then girlfriend. Then, they started booing her - it was hilarious.
Yep - they sure been trying to keep Serena elevated despite her “slump”....when she first got back after giving birth (at least she didn’t abort) they lamented that she didn’t retain her top-seed crown just because she hadn’t played in a while....and before she showed us she can’t play to that level anymore...
