Why does CNN continue to defend Antifa?
CNN’s “Reliable Sources” host Brian Stelter downplayed Antifa after several alleged members of the group brutally assaulted conservative journalist Andy Ngo over the weekend.
And, it also appears that he aired an edited clip on his show, one in which omitted the Antifa thugs actually assaulting Ngo.
Ngo, a reporter and editor for Quillette, has been reporting from the ground in Portland, Oregon, on Antifa rallies and how violent the far-left group is towards anyone who does not cower to their demands.
While covering a protest over the weekend in Portland, Ngo was harassed, tormented, had “milkshakes” with concrete mix thrown at him, and was physically assaulted by a gang of Antifa thugs.
According to images and videos that he and others uploaded to social media, Ngo was attacked by the left-wingers for doing nothing other than covering the event.
In one instance, Ngo was sucker-punched in the face by a masked thug.
When he covered his injured face, Ngo was swarmed by the mask-wearing goons and viciously kicked and pushed. They also hit him with liquid containers.
At first, people thought Ngo was hit with milkshakes. But after he was treated at the hospital, reports began to surface that there was allegedly concrete mix in the bottles thrown at him.
Stelter, who claims to be the arbiter of truth and objectiveness, spent less than one minute on the attack.
Stelter also only showed a short clip of the attack, which did not show any of the Antifa goons attacking Ngo.
After about 45 seconds of covering the attack, Stelter rushed the segment into commercial and practically refused to allow his panel to have a conversation on what the left-wing mob did to a reporter.
Stelter, the same guy who cries foul anytime someone says something mean about the media, couldn’t muster up one minute of his time to condemn Antifa and demand action against them for attacking a journalist.
The MSM needs to keep Antifa and the real BLM out of the media and out of voters minds.
This is their weak underbelly.
They will kill the next one and CNN will have to make more excuses for their thugs.
I read yesterday on another thread that Ngo has hired an attorney who says she is going to sue Antifa into oblivion. Good for her.
They need to aggressively go after the people that fund Antifa in the first place. In short, Soros Fund Management needs to be under investigation by multiple Federal authorities.
Most unfortunate for Andy, just doing his job.
Just a .22 revolver, In the absence of anything else, likely would have saved him serious injury. Maybe worse next time...
Stelter is reportedly writing a book about the relationship between Fox News and the Trump Administration. What a joke.
I still can’t figure out why ATT hasn’t sold CNN or at the very least fired their entire Management team to include Zucker. Can anybody out there give me a reason this hasn’t happened?
Why does CNN continue to defend Antifa?. For the same reason the pro Nazi media defended the Brown shirts, before Hitler gained dictatorial power. CNN seeks to change America.

Juan Williams must have been using the daily DNC talking points about antifa. He stated that antifa is anti fascist, and that they were only there to protest the white supremacists, racists and fascists.

If he visits Portland, sneak up behind him and slap a TRUMP Sticker on his Back. That would be fun to watch.
I do hope Antifa will use CNN’s video as their defense!

Remember when CNN was all proud of how they called an Apple an Apple? It’s not a banana, it’s not a kumquat.
Now they have an apple right in front of them. The whole video telling the whole story. But they won’t show that!
Turns out the apple IS a banana, depending on your political propaganda stance...
