ROTFLMAO!!! Watch the video. Sad saga of the wedgie that didn't quite happen and the gun in the waist band. Cops might have been laughing so hard they had a hard time catching him.
Moral of the story no matter where you live: Make sure you if need suspenders for the piece you plan to carry in your pants before you go packing, otherwise accidental wedgies, or worse, can happen. For me suspenders are mandatory if I chose to pack my Beretta Model 96; otherwise, it's the little S&W .357.

The perp was an ex-con. He couldn’t come up with a better plan than holding up a donut shop and getting away in an Uber?!

Not sure why but this made me think of the soap gun scene in "Take the Money and Run"

So there was a gaggle of cops in a Dunkin Donuts. I see.

There is a Dunkin Donuts near the town lines of Acton, Maynard, Concord, and Sudbury Massachusetts open 24 hours a day with all night complete police protection.

Funnier than Woody Allen in Take the Money and Run when his soap bar shoe polish blackened phony gun melted in the rain.
Or the real life bank robber who set down his wallet and full ID at the teller’s window and rushed out with the money but forgot his wallet.

A proper holster is mandatory.
But wait! NY has the most draconian gun laws in the country!
How could this possibly happen?

Sounds like he wanted to go back to Prison.
If I wanted to get arrested, what better way than robbing a donut store while cops are inside.

How could this story be true? Do officers really hang around in donut shops? I thought they were always out protecting Antifa thugs./s
Apologies to honest, hard working officers outside of Portland and other leftist mayor cities. You put your lives on the line every day against a country overflowing with druggies and violent thugs. God bless you all.

Cops who “just happened” to be at a donut shop? I see that the writer has been cloistered in his mother’s basement for his whole life.
During the summer that the Bangles came out with “Walk Like an Egyptian” and had the line about the cops in the donut shop, every single time - without exception - that I was at a light near the local Dunkin Donuts, the cop that was ahead, behind or next to me would stop there. These guys really don’t do much to help their own reputation.

in front of a trio of NYPD officers who just happened to be in the fast food restaurant. Are we supposed to believe that 3 cops at the donut shop was happenstance?
