Why then, with all of the overwhelming evidence around us, evidence that even I can see sitting at a coffee shop, do we not view this as prosperity? We have people who are dying to get into our country. People around the world destitute and truly impoverished. Yet, we have a young generation convinced they’ve never seen prosperity, and as a result, elect politicians dead set on taking steps towards abolishing capitalism.
Why? The answer is this: My generation has ONLY seen prosperity. We have no contrast. We didn’t live in the Great Depression, or live through two world wars, or see the rise and fall of socialism and communism. We don’t know what it’s like to live without the internet and smartphones. We don’t have a lack of prosperity problem. We have an entitlement problem, an ungratefulness problem, and it’s spreading like a plague.

There may be something to the idea that Millennials have had things to easy to understand.
So, do what I do and set your home page up to show everything. Then you won’t even know which category an article was posted.

OTOH, being convinced that they need to attend college right out of high school, which is essentially a four year theme park, for 30k per year to get a degree in something no one will ever pay you for.
You graduate and either you have a wanted degree and have to compete with H1Bs or a stupid degree where you work in a call center for $15/hr. Further, you have no chance of ever being able to afford a home.
Now, my nephews and nieces didn’t go down that road of disaster, my kids aren’t headed that way either, but if one were to do so, and that’s at the advisement of many adults, I could see why one would feel that way relative to other generations.
