“Why Not Socialism?”
Because,
Anyone who wants socialism is free to move to N. Korea or Cuba.
Forced sharing.
When the means justify the ends, the means BECOME the ends.
- h/t, Donald Fagan
id prefer anarchy or martial law to socialism
America is a Socialist nation. We will soon find out how much more Socialism the stupid people want.
The right usually loses to socialism because it is fighting the wrong battle. We think it’s a political fight and so we make political arguments and propose political solutions to counter them, but socialism is not, at its heart, political. In essence, socialism is just an attempt to replace God and Christianity with a man-made, materialistic belief system.
As long as we keep trying to fight that in the political arena, the best we can hope for is some compromise result that is just a watered-down version of socialism. Plus, since the socialists never give up, they will keep refining that result to move it closer and closer to their original goal. Instead, we need to fight socialism in the cultural arena and turn peoples’ hearts and minds back to God. Once we do that, they will see for themselves that socialism cannot cure the ills of the world and toss it on the dungheap.
AI is currently being implemented everywhere, and it always has that shortcoming.
Boring, long winded dissertation that would put to sleep anyone who really needs the answer.
Socialism will never compete with capitalism for a very simple reason easily explained in only a few sentences.
Socialism fails because when confronted with any problem, there will be any number of ideas presented as to how to solve the problem.
Whether it is global warming, green energy or war, there will be hundreds of proposed solutions.
Most ideas will fail. Many will give halfway satisfaction.
Only a few will be completely successful.
So whereas in a socialistic society everything depends on the decision maker/makers being right every time on every problem, a society operating under capitalism will always have individuals who will make the correct decision.
Under capitalism even though the majority may take the wrong road, enough will take the right road and as a result will prosper.
And as a result, those who guessed wrong ill have the opportunity to follow those who made the correct decision, maybe even going to work for the winner.
>Why Not Socialism?
A: Simple: It violates EVERY aspect of the Constitution and our inalienable Rights
Even simpler answer: One can move to any # of other countries of their choice
Socialism causes misery for everyone but the socialist elite — deliberately. Why do you think so many wealthy people are socialists?
Attribution please Groucho Marx
But the dichotomy between objective reality and 'choice'? If one seeks to follow that which is faithful to reality, there's no conflict. That said, not all 'choices' are equal.
If Socialism is so good, why did East Germany build a wall to keep the citizens in the East part of Germany?

Syriza, The Coalition of the Radical Left. The party colours are red (left-wing politics), green (green politics) and purple (feminism and other social movements).
The left-wing government under prime minister Alexis Tsipras (Syriza party) has drafted a bill seeking to weaken the definition of rape. The bill is set to be voted on Thursday and defines rape in terms of physical threat and not of the victim’s consent. Amnesty International has described the measure as “unacceptable”, noting that the bill will make it more difficult for victims of rape to seek justice.
There is no such thing as a woman being violated by a man; he who says that a violation is wrong denies the October Communist Revolution. To defend a violated woman is to reveal oneself as a bourgeois and a partisan of private property.Quote from an unknown Soviet official, dated 1929. Defend against rape and youre one of the bourgeoisie. So much for womens rights.
