Sounds like she wasn't thinking straight before she met him. The first time, or the second time. Why didn't she make an arrangement with the police to have them pick him up when she met him the second time? She doesn't go to the police until after she met him, and got her purse back? She's either not very bright, or she's not telling the whole story.

Your objection to taking so long to file a police report is warranted. But I’ve personally sat at a table with police officers taking a rape report. For the same incident, which was similarly reported a few days later, I called local facilities that did rape kits. When I got a hold of someone to ask if the time frame to perform this exam and gather evidence was too late, they said it was borderline. The women who worked there were also laughing in the background even though the victim was present. Shows how callously rape victims are treated. The procedure itself is about as invasive as rape also.
Poor guy deserves it.

It’s more common than you think. I know the “victim” has a “z” in her last name because I met her grandmother in a South Texas (Kingsville) dance hall back in the 80s. She had been raped by every man she had ever known including her boyfriend who was “hard-eyeing” me from across the bar.
