Pot kills brain cells and has estrogen-like effects.

Hence the term “pot bust.”

I’m with you. If you’re carrying the thing the way you’re supposed to, no one should ever know it’s there, until you need it.

Why are they looking for the hatchet dude?
He failed at robbing. Nothing happened.

When they find him, will the fired worker get his job back?
Can the worker sue him for being the cause of loosing his job?

Oh, and if the president had to de-escalate the situation, he’d probably wet his pants first.

I see no reason why a worker is not allowed to defend themselves, their life. Merchandise is replaceable. A life isn’t.

“He said employees are trained to de-escalate robbery situations to avoid injury, according to the station.”

The employee could rightfully claim to have feared for his life. In such a situation, the company is utterly wrong to expect someone to continue "de-escalating" the situation even at the risk of his own life.

So, in your mind, attempted murder should not be prosecuted?!

The hatchet dude may very well try it again. (Junkies don't think very straight.) It's time to get this guy off the streets.

When someone is fired because of the exercise their personal 2nd amendment right, it is a Bill of Rights case. It is unconstitutional and illegal to punish anyone because they exercise an inalienable right under the Constitution.

This should be going to court.

related to your post, I worked in the convenience store industry for 12 years, I was successfully robbed only once and that was because I screwed up and turned my back (got shot with a .25 in the process). I stopped fifteen other robbery attempts precisely because I was armed to teeth after that first incident.

The owner of this company is a complete jackass, who, in addition to holding leftist ideas has also allowed lawyers to run rampant regarding his company’s policies. Lawyers always look for the easiest way out of a situation, right and wrong having nothing to do with their decisions, IMO.

The employers find it cheaper to replace dead employees, than to get sued.

Employer has liability if an employee fires a gun and a bullet hits a bystander,or if shot robber sues for use of excessive force. Employer has no liability if a robber kills an employee.

There might be a puddle of piss on the floor left by the thief when the clerk pulled out the gun, they can get DNA from that.

What just happened is akin to the owner sticking a “Gun Free Zone” sign next to his store. Thieves across the state now know this. Good luck!

Their model employee likes Metallica and Star Wars...which again proves potheads are retarded and gay

OK, I'll have to take exception about Metallica (but only where their S&M album is concerned since it has a full orchestra)

and yes, the Star Wars thing is gay

the chain has a zero-tolerance policy for weapons.

Funny, the hatchet wielding POS must not have read the sign.

Plaid Pantry does NOT have a zero tolerance policy on weapons.

Plaid Pantry has a Pro Violence policy on weapons. They allow the perpetrator to be armed.

By firing healthy defenders, Plaid Pantry publically announces their support for violence.

Are Judges SO STUPID in America that lawsuits only go one way and Pro Violence businesses are never punished.
This business CEO should be sued AND sent to prison for pro violence policies. Why are CEOs let off the hook?

Why are Judges SO STUPID?

Okay, so four or five comments now and you’ve added nothing to the conversation.
We get it, you don’t like pot. It also appears that you are secretly gay and most likely retarded.
