Gender equality- where men who can’t win in men’s sports, can pretend they are women and sweep wins in every female sport

By the way Women- IF you females can’t beat pansy men pretending to be women who are weaker than real men because these female pretenders take hormones that make them weaker- how in the heck do you think you are equal to much stronger real men full of testosterone?
Granted- there are the occasional freakishly strong females- but by and large- even athletic women aren’t as strong or fast as hormonally weakened men pretending to be women-
Lots of good woman engineers here in Israel. Also, I worked with woman engineers in the Midwest and Silicon Valley and they were fine.
Our welfare roles are full of women, and others, who would make great engineers.
If gender isnt important why do engineers need to have more women?
Women themselves do not want to put the long hours into these areas of study. They have determined its far easier to marry an engineer and have access to the perks of that career, that way.
This is silly. Women, in general, are not that interested in engineering but those who are interested, are interested because they have the aptitude and skill set to be successful engineers; they already go into engineering, have done so for many many years, and furthermore they are good at it!
Good Lord... Women are ALREADY A MAJORITY in nearly every engineering discipline. At the last three universities I visisted (for recruiting) females comprised a majority of students in every engineering field except computers.
We don’t need MORE women. We need MORE men!

No surprise there, but the question is whether we drop the standards as needed to get women closer to 50 percent, say less math, or dumbed-down math. Of course whe’d also have to dumb-down the laws of Physics, but I’m not sure the left has figured out a way to do that yet.
Yes, why build a skyscraper that can stand for 100 years when you can have someone design one that has zero experience or education? Talk about a NEET...

The idea we should drop standards to get more women into engineering is supremely stupid.
I was friends with the first female that went to my alma mater (she was a bit older than me). There were numerous gals when I went, but some of the guys’ attitudes were demeaning to them.
I would comment “Heck - I’m not going to demean them. One of them might be my boss some day!” (I was on the median side of things for overall GPA).
A buddy of mine married one of the cutest gals at the school. She’s some big wig at an oil company now.
Gender equality? Women aren’t registering for the draft are they? I didn’t think so.
It comes down to aptitude. There are many men and women in engineering fields that shouldn’t be there.

Granted there weren’t many engineers in the field when I started in 1979. Those who were seemed to divide into two groups; utterly incompetent and amazing-first-rate. There didn’t seem to be much in-between. (I was in-between.)
Incidentally, my mother graduated in the late nineteen thirties (she is now 102) with a degree in physics. She was high up in her class and the only woman.
IMO, women make better computer programmers. I had a group of women working for me, who were Application Developers. I called them my ‘coding machines’. Their code had virtually no problems in production, great work ethics, not distracted by non job related issues, great leadership skills etc.
"Woman Engineers" are incompetent pains in the ass.
Plenty of good women engineers. However, in fields such as engineering where actual results matter and second best or participation trophy level abilities get people killed... It is my firm belief that advancement should be 100% merit based. Gender, race, etc are all a distant secondary consideration.
One of my daughters is an engineer. I don’t remember her having any fellow female students in her program. Unfortunately, it isn’t something that most females are interested in.
If I recall correctly, was it not women engineers that engineered the walking bridge that fell on the traffic below as it was being installed in South Florida.
