Trump fires back at 'loser' GOP lawmaker who said he'd engaged in 'impeachable conduct'

President Trump on Sunday ripped Rep. Justin Amash (R-Mich.) for saying that the president had reached the "threshold for impeachment," accusing the conservative lawmaker of leveling the charge "for the sake of getting his name out there through controversy." "Never a fan of @justinamash, a total lightweight who opposes me and some of our great Republican ideas and policies just for the sake of getting his name out there through controversy," Trump said on Twitter. ....he would see that it was nevertheless strong on NO COLLUSION and, ultimately, NO OBSTRUCTION...Anyway, how do you Obstruct when there is no crime and, in fact, the crimes were committed by the other side? Justin is a loser who sadly plays right into our opponents hands! — Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) May 19, 2019

Amash is indeed an asshat. A two-faced McButtface level asshat. There is no hold deep enough, and not enough excrement in the universe sufficient to cover the hole.

Hope he is around after CW-II. The guillotines will be ready for him.

Certainly no “Obstruction of Justice” since this whole circus act was not constitutionally supportable. If an act is unconstitutional and, thus, illegal, you can’t have “Obstruction of Justice”.

I agree with the President. I have followed this man for several years. Not sure what his real views are although he used the usual Republican line to get elected. I have seen and heard enough about the Muller Report to know that nothing was done to justify impeachment.

“Amash argued that the report identified “multiple examples of conduct satisfying all the elements of obstruction of justice.”

Deep state dirt bags like Amash keep making the claim but NEVER, EVER back it up with any kind of example. Then the traitorous deep state bought and paid for propaganda news agencies let them keep making these claims and NEVER, EVER ask for an example of the ‘obstruction of justice’.

Never a fan of @justinamash, a total lightweight who opposes me and some of our great Republican ideas and policies just for the sake of getting his name out there through controversy. If he actually read the biased Mueller Report, “composed” by 18 Angry Dems who hated Trump,....— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) May 19, 2019

Stig: Well he had to, didn't he? I mean there was nothing else he could do, be fair. Trump had transgressed the unwritten law.

Interviewer: What had he done?

Stig: Er... well he didn't tell me that, but he gave me his word that it was the case, and that's good enough for me with old Dinsy.

Impeachment is a political act, there doesn’t need to be a “reason”, as a practical matter.

They do need something to kind of hang their hat on, and repeat ad nauseam, over and over, as their talking points on the “news” programming to demagogue the issue. That’s why they call it programming. That’s what this is about.

Inhad forgotten, or never really knew, how popular Richard Nixon was in 1972, he won something like 520 Electoral College votes, and the popular vote was ~ 69 million to 37 million. Yet he was setup and taken down. He was actually kind of liberal in a lot of ways, but he was anti Communist, and the leftists certainly never forgave him for that.

Trump appears to be one of the very few non-Democrat politicians who defends Donald Trump.

So be it.

Trump is going to drag the Republican party kicking and screaming to various conservative accomplishments that they will all take credit for, but few defend him.

What a bunch of scumbags.

Nixon imposed wage and price controls on everyone, created OSHA, established the Environmental Protection Agency, so yeah.
