Let’s see... you don’t know anything about the original poster other than what’s in my one post, which consisted of a second-hand retelling of what I can recall. And on that flimsy thread you decide that he couldn’t know what he’s talking about.

Well either the original poster has absolutely no idea what he/she is talking about or you have horribly misrepresented what the poster claimed.

There’s no need for me to comment beyond that.

That's fine. So my last comment will be that I think it isn't a good idea to spread conspiracy theories like that. They're absurd and borderline libelous to people who work for Electric Boat. (No I don't work for EB, nor do I have any intention to apply there. I've had my share of rotten Groton, CT!)

One of my coffee buddies is a retired IT scientist who worked at Electric Boat as a contactor, including on Parche. He has clearances up the wazoo. He never expressed your objections when we discussed this same missile theory. He didn’t think it odd for EB to have a boat available for testing a weapons system, or that contractors would run it. He found the missile theory plausible although unproven, and didn’t feel libeled by the theory. So I think I’ll give his opinion preference.
