The tradition of history is what binds society's generations together. Yet given the dark clouds surrounding our nation's capital, is it time to at least have a cease fire with the progressive revisionists of history and focus on the critical issues at hand, like the survival of our constitutional republic?

No. The revisionists are complicit and are aiding in the destruction of our republic. We cannot negotiate at all with these slime and we cannot afford a cease-fire.

Ok, statue and monument issues aside.
People need a state-blessed “holiday”?

Only eight South Carolina counties observe Confederate Memorial Day, which was made a state holiday in 2000.Time for some Jethro Bodine ciphering.
There are 46 counties in South Carolina of which eight observe Confederate Memorial Day. That's 17% which is too low and they must stop immediately.
There are 3,141 counties in the United States of which Hillary Clinton won 487. That's 15.5% and she should be President for life.
Left-wing math is so cool!
