ST. LOUIS (CNN Newsource) - Two educators in Illinois are facing battery charges for reportedly abusing two daycare students. Officials say the boys were stripped naked and forced to stand in a closet as a form of punishment.
The facility is called the SIUE East St. Louis early headstart program. Mary Agbehia, 27, from Edwardsville, who was a teacher, and Shavonda Willis, 41 from Fairview Heights, who was a teacher's aide, both face one count of aggravated battery and one count of unlawful restraint.
The women are charged with making two five-year-old boys each stand alone in a closet naked at the daycare as a form of discipline.

Hey, in my school, Sister threw erasers across the room at the bad boys. I saw a couple get spankings. But, yeah, they were allowed to keep their clothes on.

My(our) nemesis in late 40s/early50s was Sister Mary Gertrude.
Whether it was deserving or not, that lady was nasty.
I had an aunt 5 years older and all her family went to the school but I did appear to be ‘singled out’.
That said, feel ‘sorry’ for me if a teacher of my children/grandchildren/greatgrandchildren were stripped nekkid and placed in a cloakroom/closet there would be some kind of hell to pay.....Of course, I would probably end up in jail....along the same line if one of those Congressmen/Senators etal were to lecture me on morality, honest or truth....
PPS...I spent so much time in the cloak room I still can’t stand the smell of wet wool or arctics/golashes....
Ah, childhood....
When I was between 2 and 4, and a brother was between 4 and 6, we’d get into some kinda trouble at home and my mom would make the two us stand facing different corners of the dinning room, and make us stay there until the older kids got home from school in the afternoon.
That’s when whatever we did did not make her so upset as to spank us on our bare bottoms, lying over her lap.
