I thought McD’s had gotten rid of them by itself voluntarily?

I can’t remember when I’ve gotten one lately. Except for take doggie bags...

Met a guy that lived in Freeport. I remember him bragging that his son’s grade school class got the town to restrict something, packaging and/or drive-thru at the local McDs, and that was some 20 years ago.

Yeah, they did. Years ago. We're dealing with this same shit with the city of Albuquerque. Many (most) local businesses use Styrofoam/plastic containers because they are selling a combination of wet/dry foods. Green/red chile sauces do not ship well in cardboard. A lot of the restaurants in the area are fighting it.

They're also on a plastic bag/plastic straw ban kick, too.

This will hit Chinese takeout restaurants a bit hard. Especially the buffets; they all use styrofoam containers for take-home buffet.

Just in places where people complained about it. I went to a McD's in the Middle East and they were still using Styrofoam containers.
