“How should I say this? Never a good thing when I have to practice saying my name and have to be told that I have too much emotion in my name,” the 65-year-old continued. “I think I did seven takes on just my name because it was ‘too emotional.’ I go, ‘Is there too much emotion in the Oprah part or the Winfrey part?’ I was working on pulling myself down and flattening out my personality — which, for me, is actually not such a good thing.”
Winfrey was hired in January 2017 by CBS News to be a special contributor to "60 Minutes."
Oprah could use some flattening.

2017, huh. Never knew she was on the show but then I dumped 60 Minutes decades ago.
She’s chiming in today praising Meghan Markle’s choice not to have the (months overdue) baby at the hospital all royals are birthed in. Hey, Oprah, it’s none of your business.
I’m no big fan of this American-hating commie, but if what she says is true about them micro-managing how she says her name, she was right to leave. I can imagine the spineless, soulless, lack-of-imagination turds that run network TV. Also, all American-hating commies.
Or, if I knew, I forgot, also not changing my lack of viewing the program.

I’ve blacklisted 60 Min and had no idea she was on it.
I see annoying ads for it sometimes or I wouldn’t know it existed either. I haven’t watched it since the early 80s.
