I have a non-standard view:
I consider every high school clique and every back-room deal a conspiracy.
Thus, conspiracies are common. Many are trivial, even relatively benign. When great money and power are involved, however, they usually are not.
It is the very idea that persons dealing with enormous money and power would not collude and conspire that is the ridiculous one.
Oh, I’d forgotten about her. There was something posted about her not too long ago and still, I had forgotten about her. Gettin’ old bites!
Yep - still a family tragedy.
I did notice one odd thing about how the story was being presented...she was always referred to as a “woman” (who happened to be 18) instead of “teen”...guess that term is saved for actual thugs who don’t have to be mentally ill to hurt people.
So where are the stories now about Toxic Femininity"?
No violent mentally ill male ever managed to cause a half million students to miss a day of school.
Maybe, maybe not. But they will get over a day off from school. Getting shot not so much. I think the authorities over reacted but if she had pulled off a shooting they would of been second guessed.
