You could always check the price of the “Pod” thing for comparison. If your stuff is too heavy for you, you can hire movers to fill the pod for you.

Never used it myself. Only done short moves.

If you’re going to Florida just get rid of everything accept the bare minimum because nothing matches the decor down there.

I’m in the process of moving back. I don’t know if this a wise decision but I came from there decades ago and I have to leave this blue state called Virginia.

I checked on a Pods a few years back and it was EXPENSIVE !

I was doing a Central Texas to North Texas for just Me and I could have rented about 6 Penske trucks for what the Pods cost.

I called about the “POD’ system. When I asked how long before my things would be delivered, the quotes were from 8 days to 3 months.

Didn’t seem too organized to me.

Pods are a rip off. Not cheaper, and not reliable.
