I saw the English Beat open for the Clash at Golden Hall in San Diego in the 80s.
Apparently he had two brain tumors operated on, and was being treated for lung cancer.
Damn I miss the 80s. Though, in the area I’m living in now, 80s fashion is starting to come back among the younger crowd. Maybe the music will too.

I was in Kroger the other day and London Calling was playing! Surprised the heck out of me. Though they missed the track they should have played from that album, they could have picked Lost in the Supermarket.
