In the first part of this dig, we saw generally’s post about anons talking about Jeffrey Epstein’s plane going to Antarctica, and she reminded us of the various prominent people who had gone there.

Now that we have that sorted out, the concern about Jeffrey Epstein’s plane going to the Antarctica looms large.
The issue of did JE’s plane go to Antarctica seems to be a controversial one. One guy at reddit, who states he is a plane fag, is jumping up and down saying that JE did not go to Antarctica, while others seem to be insisting that he did.

POPE/RUSSIAN ORTHODOX PATRIARCH/ AUSTRALIA’S COSGROVE
Generally mentioned in her post the Pope, but he didn’t actually go there. Nevertheless, he does seem to figure in the story at some level. It was Patriarch Kirill, leader of the Russian Orthodox Church who went there.

According to the story, there are 10 Russian research stations in Antarctica. He held prayers for polar researchers as well as 64 Russians who have died there on polar expeditions. He prayed for the entire world.
“ About 30 nations operate permanent research stations in Antarctica including the United States Russia, Australia, Britain, France and Argentina.”
There are some pretty cool pictures at the link to the story showing the Patriarch among the penguins and so forth.
The visit was February 17, 2016. (The article was published February 18, 2016.)
There are speculative stories about the meeting between the Pope and the Patriarch, as one might imagine. There are mentions of an artifact and some documents, and even a “bizarre ritual” - but I need to leave that right there, because it goes into TwiZo Land. (Q-ing up the Twilight Zone chimes…)

The president was vague about what the mission to Antarctica would entail, but he did indicate that it could take “UP TO FOUR YEARS.”
While some witnesses to the scene said that Mr. Biden seemed surprised by the news, his wife, Dr. Jill Biden, offered another version of events during an appearance later in the day on “Oprah.”
“Joe was given a choice of places to go and he picked Antarctica,” she said. “President Obama said he could also go to the moon or Mars.”
Dr. Biden’s remarks were cut short when PRESIDENT OBAMA APPEARED ON THE SET AND UNPLUGGED HER MICROPHONE.
Remember, this was from liberal/Obama Admin friendly HuffPost. Not from people who are likely to have been trying to discredit the O Administration.
Perhaps it WAS a mission of 4 years…. But he couldn’t afford to have Biden run it for 4 years, so perhaps handed it over to John F’n Kerry (WSIVN)? - which could be why J F’n K (WSIVN) went there on election day? Just a thought. No doubt, there are other plausible scenarios.
I did a search to see if there were any PR reports about Biden’s visit, but I couldn’t find any. If he went, perhaps he really did go on a special mission, and it was secret. [Or maybe he went to Mars, after all.] He was given the mission to go to Antarctica very publicly, but there is no public record that I was able to uncover, which proves it. No pix of Biden playing with the penguins.
What I found interesting is that SEVERAL SOURCES STATE THAT OBAMA HIMSELF WENT TO ANTARCTICA. I CHECKED WIKIPEDIA, AND FOUND A LISTING OF PLACES HE VISITED, AND ANTARCTICA IS NOT ON THE LIST.

So while it does not list Antarctica - it does list Argentina in March of 2016. He had also at other times had visits in Australia and Brazil and Chili.
After I made that observation, I learned that others had also made that connection. Many of them are writers who deal in subjects, which, let us say, are not approved of by our JimRob! ....But nevertheless are intriguing.

UNPROVEN VISITOR J. CLAPPER AND PROVEN VISITOR PRESIDENT BILL CLINTON
In the internet rumor mill of the time, I found several sources which insist that James Clapper went to Australia at the same time when Obama was in southern Argentina. The theories are abounding that Clapper’s trip was a secret, and I guess that is correct, because I have not been able to find a good source which substantiates that he was there at that time in March 2016. The rumors also insist that Obama and Clapper had actually visited Antarctica simultaneously.
I was not able to find good verification for that with sources that wouldn’t get me tossed out of Free Republic. But the stories are definitely available.
What I found fascinating is that I did find a source which places him in Australia in June 2017 as “a visiting professor at the Australian National University’s National Security College.”
…..which is fairly close to Antarctica if the Derps wanted him to go there - even after his days of holding power.
Did any other Presidents go to Antarctica on record?
It seems Bill Clinton did so way back in 1999.

KING OF SPAIN/ PREZ OF CHILI/ VLADIMIR PUTIN
Other documented prominent visitors to Antarctica include the King of Spain as far back as 2004. The President of Chili accompanied him.

His visit was reportedly as a long-time wish fulfillment of the desire to go there. There are two Spanish scientific bases there. In addition to going to Antarctica, the King Juan Carlos and his wife, the Queen of Spain had a diplomatic visit with the President of Chili, Ricardo Lagos. The King and the President of Chili both visited the two Spanish bases on January 17, 2004. They also visited a marine wolf breeding center. It was reportedly the first time a monarch had visited Antarctica.
Later on Saturday the party returned by Chilean Air Force Hercules aircraft to Punta Arenas where the King reported he was very pleased with the visit. He praised the work of scientists and personnel stationed in Antarctica and added:
“I slept only 3 hours, but I’m not tired because everything has been so moving; I’ve been longing for this trip and it’s been quite some time since I’ve felt so good”
I guess a trip like that would be “moving.” And who knew there was such a thing as a “marine wolf?” Apparently there are such.
ANOTHER UNPROVEN VISITOR: VLADIMIR PUTIN
The Moscow Times announced on January 28, 2017, Putin’s plan to visit Antarctica.

At the time of the release of that plan to visit, NO DATE HAD BEEN SET.

In 2017, reportedly, he went nowhere near any countries which would make a secret visit to Antarctica an easy jump. In 2018, he did go to Johannesburg, South Africa for the 10th BRICS summit on July 25-27, 2018. He also attended the G20 Summit on November 20-December 2, 2018 in Buenos Aires, Argentina. No rumors seem to be reported that he had a secret trip there from either of those events.
His 2019 schedule shows him anticipating trips in November to Chili [APEC Summit] and Brazil [11th BRICS Summit.] No whisper of Antarctica. Perhaps the trip to Antarctica by the Patriarch Kirill was the needed representation for Russian for whatever is going on.

The King of Spain was not the only Royal to visit Antarctica. Take a look at this from November 13, 2013:

BUZZ ALDRIN
While there may be other well known people who have gone to Antarctica, the final one on the list I was able to find in my recent researches was BUZZ ALDRIN.
For those who still have a few freebies from Washington Post, [I no longer do] here is a link to the story December 14, 2016, about him being in Antarctica. He was evacuated from the South Pole, reportedly for having developed “altitude sickness” at 9000 feet.

There are a lot of stories out there about him tweeting that we are in danger from something he supposedly saw there. The folks at reddit, to my satisfaction, have cast reasonable doubt about that tweet’s veracity. Maybe he did make that tweet, but it is by no means certain, IMHO.

Here is what Buzz Aldrin himself said:

Buzz Aldrin looked in high spirits as he gave an interview with the Today Show Wednesday morning, less than two weeks after he had to be evacuated from Antarctica when he had a medical emergency.
The 86-year-old former astronaut, and second man on the moon, said he suffered altitude sickness as he was journeying 11,000 feet up to the South Pole earlier this month.
While Aldrin made it to the South Pole - becoming the oldest person to do so - he immediately had to be evacuated to a hospital in New Zealand for congestion in his lungs - cutting his trip short.
“I got out of breath, you know. That’s nothing new, except it’s a little more concentrated. It’s cold and you got heavy stuff and not much air to breathe up there,” he told Al Roker.
“When turning back is about as difficult as pressing on, you press on because you got an objective. Especially when they tell me that I set a record - the oldest guy to the South Pole. See now it was worth it really.”
While he was hospitalized in New Zealand, waiting for his chest to clear, he learned about the passing of his fellow former astronaut John Glenn.

During his Today Show interview, Aldrin remembered Glenn - a man he first met in 1953 when the two were fighter pilots in the Korean War.
Glenn was a ‘typical all-American guy,’ Aldrin said, adding that he ‘admired that guy so much’.
‘He was a Marine, but he knew how to fly that airplane I’ll tell you,’ Aldrin, an Army veteran and West Point alum, said.
Glenn died last Thursday at the age of 95. In addition to a decorated career as a fighter pilot and one of the Original Seven astronauts, he was a long-serving senator for the state Ohio.

ANTARCTICA - WHAT’S GOING ON?
PART TWELVE
And so we have all these people with great interest in Antarctica - except for possibly No Name. But don’t forget there are also the activities of the Pew Trusts involved in environmental things in Antarctica. Pew Trusts are dipping their hands into all kinds of things environmental and NOT environmental. Recall their stated mission:
“improving public policy, informing the public, and stimulating civic life.”
Is it a good thing they are involved, or are they Derponized enough for us to be nervous about it? It did not fall under the scope of the above dig, but I would point out that there are other truly derpezoid organizations possibly deeply involved in the goings on at the South Pole of the world. National Geographic? Smithsonian? NGO’s of all flavors and nations?
BUT WHY????
Reference has already been made to the abundance of minerals there. And the abundant sea life found there.

With Britain filing a claim with the United Nations Commission on the Limits of the Continental Shelf on May 11th of this year for one million square kilometers of the South Atlantic and Antarctic Oceans and Australia being granted 2.5 million more square kilometers in the Antarctic Ocean by the same UN Commission last year (the Australian Antarctic Territory takes in 42% of Antarctica) the region is now arguably one of the most closely contested territorial - and resource and strategic - disputes in the world.
Seven countries have formal claims to Antarctica
three NATO states in Europe - Britain, France and Norway
two British Commonwealth nations in the South Pacific - Australia and New Zealand
two South American countries - Argentina and Chile
The Argentine, British and Chilean claims all overlap at places.
Peru, Russia, South Africa and the United States have reserved the right to future claims on Antarctic territory and Brazil has designated what it refers to as a zone of interest in the region. Of the seven official claimants, five are members of what is generally considered the Western world, geography aside, leaving only Chile and Argentina as rivals to them….”

“…Last October the Secretary of Russia’s Security Council, Nikolai Patrushev, visited the Argentine capital and met with the nation’s foreign and defense ministers and its secretary of intelligence.
“Patrushev indicated that the two countries have identical viewpoints on all issues and especially ones pertaining to international policies, and this has a good effect on bilateral relations. “Patrushev named a host of areas where Russia and Argentina have mutual interests - the nuclear power industry, power engineering, nanotechnologies, oil and gas exploration and production, and the use of the Russian icebreaker fleet.“ He also mentioned plans to develop relations between the two countries’ Defense Ministries. “More specifically, Patrushev said that his Argentine hosts and he had discussed a possibility of joint military exercises and joint training of defense cadres.”

So there you have it. The Mad Scramble for Resources seems to be on, even though there are long-standing treaties/agreements for that continent not to be dominated by any one nation.
There is definitely Something going on at our South Pole. Maybe it is the above explanation, of the battle over the richness of the mineral and sea life content on and around the Frozen Continent. And no doubt, that is very likely to be part of the equation, if not all of it….
