I saw THE FAVOURITE. Although she was quite good, the film bothered me for its LGBT agenda.
I didn't see THE WIFE, but I wanted to avoid it because of its feminist overtones.
I really wanted STAR IS BORN to win, but I knew it wouldn't since it was mainly white, old-fashioned, & non-political.
I saw it because Daisy Cousins, a conservative YouTuber, said it was criticized by LGBT groups for not being "gay enough."
I enjoyed it. It brought back memories of the music scene during the 1970-1980s. The actor was phenomenal; I am glad he won. The film downplayed Mercury's homosexuality; it honestly showed how he struggled with it (he was in love with a woman) & brought AIDS on himself.
I wanted to see GREEN BOOK, but couldn't get around to it. Hopefully soon.
How do I know a film is worth seeing? If the left trashes it. (Likewise with BOHEMIAN RHAPSODY, which the gays criticized.)
It’s posted because Hollywood has interposed themselves on our elections and their influence on politics. We are fighting the media, we are fighting academia, we are fighting Hollywood and all the rest. Educate yourself on this and get off the “I don’t care about Hollywood” stupid talk.

The wife and I, did not watch The Academy Awards, Have not watched for many years. But...the printed reviews at “Deadline Hollywood” are not kind at all to the Academy Awards and the Hollywood low life humanity that prance, preach, pander and pontificate as the living buffoons and morons most of them are.
They resemble the current Democrat Party with four hundred and twenty-two POTUS candidates, with not one of them having a chance of besting POTUS, Donald J. Trump in the upcoming 2020 POTUS election,

If people want to ignore it, they can ignore it. But you will be ignoring Hollywood’s influence a little thing called liberty, private property rights and the constitution. They are moving everything to the left so you need to stay educated on what is happening. Or we can just bury our heads in the sand and say entertainment and pop culture is silly and use “who cares” arguments as they pull the country further to the left.
Bohemian Rhapsody is about a great rock group, one of whom is gay and the others are family men married to women, who have real home lives with children — which is a point in the film.

Agree with you. Read this morning that Spike Lee so angry that Green Book won best pic that he tried to storm out then turned his back on acceptance speech. Talk about a poor loser. He said he always loses when someone is driving like in Driving Miss Daisy lost to do the right thing lol
