Billy Porter isn't playing around on the Oscars red carpet tonight. The Pose star arrived ready to snatch wigs in an actual tuxedo gown by Christian Siriano, which looked worthy of its own Academy Award. The velvety look featured silk lapels, white ruffled sleeves, a black bowtie, and a voluminous ball skirt. To say Porter slayed in the ensemble in an understatement.

It has turned into a 4 hour freak show lecture of socialism.
So happy I won’t be watching. The pic at the link caused me to want to throw up! How stupid looking.

I and the wife no longer give a rat’s ass about these self-aggrandizing award shows. However, being the real woman she is, she likes to look at the gowns on the red carpets. After that, she turns it off.
I don’t know who Billy Porter is, but he looks silly in that getup.

One more reason not to watch. Earlier today, some middle-aged women in the local bar were carrying on about the Oscars like a bunch of school girls. I just don’t get this fascination with actors and actresses and gowns and bling. It’s garish.
