Criminal enters Palestine, Texas convenience store, ties up two clerks.

As they lay on the floor, the tall urban man rifles through store merchandise, finding lighter fluid.

He douses the female clerk in lighter fluid, then sets her ablaze, making his getaway as she desperately tries to extinguish the growing blaze.

She takes her shirt off, appearing to succeed in putting the fire out.

Update: Perp has been arrested.Police arrest armed robbery suspect accused of duct-taping clerk, setting customer on fire.

One Robert Thompson, 40. Lives in the area. Prior criminal history with drug offenses. No indication as to whether he has any violent priors.

If there was justice, this guy would be bound for a short trip down the road to Huntsville, and from there to Hell.
