Rep. Dan Kildee defended fellow Democratic Rep. Ilhan Omar’s controversial weekend tweets regarding U.S. politicians who defend Israel, saying Monday morning that they were not anti-Semitic.
"I wouldn't take it as anti-Semitism,” Kildee told CNN when asked what he thought of the criticism that Omar insinuated that Jewish money was controlling lawmakers.
Kildee, who represents a Michigan district, said that he believes Omar was trying to bring light to the fact that there are people who make campaign contributions specifically based on Israel policy.

I think this woman is excreble from everything I’ve seen so far, but I would caution against jumping into this game where policy differences become accusations of hatred for groups. It’s far more often used against us.

He wanted to say, "I wouldn't take it as anti-Semitism. That's just the story that the Zionist masters of the media spread to cover up the fact that the Republicans are controlled by Israeli Jew interests and by collusion with the Russian intelligence services. So shut the hell up!"

People voted for her knowing her tweets, if they disagree with her they’ll vote her out next time. I’m not going to start the liberal game of calling everyone I disagree with a bigot who should be silenced though.

There was a Kildee in that seat when I moved there, thirty years ago.
