Nope. I grew up in Sun Prairie, Wisconsin - Ground Hog Capitol of the WORLD!

Jimmy says six more weeks of winter and then an early & mild Spring. :)

She did not see her shadow, nor her breath on the mirror.

She looked down, saw her black robe and died. She was embalmed and no one can tell the difference, thus 20 more years of fascist tyranny

I’m not a lib but it triggered me. Got me thinking about an old Jerry Reed song “ The Tuepelo Mississippi Flash”. Feel bad for Georgia, where I live ground hogs are still hibernating. Only way they’d see their shadow is if you threw a flashlight in the den.

My prediction.....March 21st.

4-6 weeks after the solstice is the coldest part of winter (Last week of January & first two weeks in February)

4-6 weeks after the solstice is the hottest part of summer. (last week in July & first two weeks in August)

I have a feeling we’re going to have a cool, wet, SHORT growing season this year. The signs are all here, so I’m planning accordingly.
