The curcumin capsule I take also has 50 mg of ginger in it. This is to counter nausea or other stomach upset some people might get from the turmeric.
Sorry for your issues. I’ve been dealing with the effects of Rheumatoid Arthritis for longer than I haven’t. Been down the road with lots of different anti-inflammatory drugs(including prednisone) I gained an ungodly amount of weight, whether I ate or not. Just wished I started it early than I did and maybe I could have prevented some of the damage.(doc didn’t think I would respond to it.)After having both hips replaced and working on my knees I’m dealing with more than my fair share of pain, and I’m taking the heavy stuff so I can work on the farm.
I limit my Oxycodone, mostly in the morning and evening. And never when I know I have to go to town. The thought of getting caught driving while under the influence worries me because I help take care of my aged mother.
But I will take them to function. Wasn’t on pain meds for a long time, only before the surgeries waiting til the pain was untolerable and I coouldn’t function. Afterwards I weaned myself off of them. Then the other hip started to go. Now the knees. Rinse. Repeat.
I make no apologies for relying on them. As long as I need them, I’ll take them and deal with the side effects later. My only alternative is too dark to consider. Good luck with the placedos.
My father was in a drug trial for something he was on, pre-trial.
He knew he got the fake stuff because he had to cut the tablet for a half dose, and it did not cut the way the real tablet cut.
The problem is that you’ll now become addicted to placebos.
"Placebo" is stupid, does nothing and is totally fake.
Whoever recommended that, kick them to the curb and get some REAL drugs.
Are U serious?
I don’t need any free estrogen.
You knew him too?!
I bet a box of Sucrets will do the trick. You’ll feel better and your breath won’t stink!
I need a pain pill for all these FLeepers that have been crawling outta the woodwork.
I just placeboed myself this am it was good
My neurologist told me to up my curcumin when I told her I had nerve pain.
You’ve been through a lot. Your mother is blessed to have you still looking after her. This is something each of us learns about on our own, often through trial and error. You are wise, though to limit the strong meds when driving.
No, I was joking, but the last set of pills in the package are placebos.
Look up homeopathic medicine, it is basically nothing.
What about in the vitamin aisle? Try a homeopathic under the tongue thing. There are a ton of them. Look in a sprouts or Whole Foods super market. You will find stuff there. Completely harmless.
Good luck!
I haven’t had Sucrets in years. I didn’t know they were still being made. I recall trading a box of Sucrets for a box of Smith Brothers Cherry Cough Drops, back in grade school.
Magnesium malate is a bad form to take. Its the cheapest, worst quality, and provides at best only a laxative effect. Magnesium is excellent for calming and sleep and pain and we are all deficient if we dont supplement. But seek out almost anything than the cheap poor Malate.
Magnesium citrate is good, and I take magnesium glycinate.
CBD works best for chronic pain, not acute pain such as youd get from a just-happened injury, and is a good bet when a significant aspect of the pain is neurogenic (I.e. originating in the central nervous system itself - like when you think about pain and it gets worse). Try at least 30mg daily. This will not be particularly inexpensive at that dose and use for three weeks before coming to a conclusion. Many people would recommend CBD+THC given your history if legal in your location.
