I’d suspect that Willie Brown had affairs with every female employee, or would have if he could have. He was famous for his sharp dressing and winning ways, shall we say.

However, I lived in CA while he was a state assemblyman and then mayor, and he really wasn’t bad. He was a schmoozer and a wheeler dealer, and I’m sure everything had something in it for him, but he was famous for his ability to actually work with opponents and come out with deals.

It doesn’t sound as if Kamala Harris is cut from the same cloth, unfortunately.

A more subtle point is republicans have black candidates (Carson, Cain, etc.), who have real American ancestry, slavery ancestry, where their descendants went through all the hardships, trauma, all the bad stuff so their offspring could be better off...OTOH, demoncrat “black” candidates seem to never have such background...half Indian, half something islandish, Obama never had an ancestor with any slavery ancestry...they are all safe candidates, safe blacks...biracial, which they choose to call ‘black’...high yella, if you will. Even not calling them black, uses the racist one drop rule thingy...
