An incorrectly identified kid (who wasn’t present) has a family receiving threatening messages.
The school denounced its own kids without bothering to collect evidence that became available within hours. But that “apology” is being used by liberal bullies as more evidence the kids did something wrong.
The liberal media whipped up a hate mob on top of what was already occurring on social media.
We’re approaching the point where a liberal accusing someone of a hate crime should NOT be believed because they fake these things so often. And the media doesn’t share the true stories when they come to light nearly as far as they did the original “narrative”.
This will be the latest entry on the literal fake hate crimes list.

The DA is investigating threats against the students and school per the Cinncinati Enquirer. An Native Indian group is planning a protest at the school 10am Tues.
There were 5 chaperones. They gave the kids permission to cheer and sing songs so not have to hear the taunts.
There was a time in this country when threats to do serious harm to an individual, or the incitement thereof, were subject to criminal prosecution, which is a cut above civil torts in terms of malicious intent and potential punishment. Telephoned threats, for example, done for whatever reason, were to be reported to legal authorities. Those carried an additional liability if made across state lines. I guess such is not the case anymore, at least if the targets of such threats are white Christian males (because then they deserve it). How can anyone truly believe that it isn’t a world gone insane.
Where are the park police ?

Future damages are "presumed" damages. "Actual damages" are immediate out of pocket damages.
It is doubtful the kids have any immediate out of pocket damages (like the immediate loss of a job and related income).

"Actual damages" is a legal term (which is why it is in parens).

Dude, this is worth a thread off its own, IMHO.
I guess they haven't heard of the 8th commandment ("Thou shalt not bear false witness...") (9th commandment by Protestant count). At a minimum it is irresponsible to rush to judgment without trying to ascertain the truth. Maybe the MAGA caps mean that the students forfeit the right to have their side of the story heard before judgment is passed.
I have seen and heard several leftists state that anyone who voted for or supports Trump does not deserve rights.
Luckily rights don’t come from leftists, and they may have to have that lesson inflicted upon them in a manner that won’t soon be forgotten at some point in the near future.
