The lawsuit should include “unlawful endangerment of minors.” It is not a stretch to associate this dangerous and reckless reporting as a precursor to this Catholic School and others as becoming targets for school shootings. We have lost dozens of kids who have been massacred in schools by unhinged people who were encouraged by reckless reporting. In fact, Catholic schools should immediately step up their security at once.

It is very clear that the media attacked these kids with malice, as the real story asserted itself so easily and quickly. That is something the media themselves could have found if they had really wanted to, but it is obvious that their intent was malicious.

Question is: is there a judge in this country that has the cajones to allow the media to be convicted?

You can’t prove a particular dollar amount of reputation damage has occurred. You can only estimate, take a wild guess, or arbitrarily fix a number.

But there are at least four distinct parties who can sue for such damage in this case - the Diocese, the school, the primary target (Sandmann), and the Hodge kid who got doxxed just for resembling Sandmann.
