To me, the central idea of "fascism" is to view society as an organic whole in which all aspects of life are under the coordination and control of a strong central government, which requires all subsidiary institutions - corporations, schools, churches, labor unions, and families - to actively cooperate with, and be instruments of, top-down governmental objectives.
Every individual is treated as a creature of the state, and all allegiance is to the state, and all rights emanate from the state. Those who do not cooperate will be harassed or legislated out of existence. That exactly describes the philosophy of the Democrat Party.

The Democrats embody fascism but they don’t embrace the name, only the philosophy.
