California Governor Gavin Newsom’s wife, Jennifer Siebel Newsom, will be addressed as “First Partner” rather than “First Lady” in order to advance ‘gender equality,’ according to The Gateway Pundit.
Jennifer Newsom even altered her Twitter bio to reflect the recent change:
First Partner of California. Filmmaker and Founder of @therepproject. Married to Mr. @GavinNewsom and proud mom of four little ones.
CA’s former leader, Jerry Brown, stepped down from his post on Monday letting far-left Gavin Newsom take over as the 40th governor of California.
