That’s an awful lot of accommodating for people who already broke the law coming here. Absolutely no reason to believe they would follow ANY NEW requirements. Just plain foolishness! IF anything ever gets done, it has to be cut and dried and as simple as ABC or XYZ! Has to be made clear enough so others thinking of coming here ILLEGALLY think twice about it!!

I was expecting that people, especially FReepers would read the article, think about it, and engage in some discussion or offer improvements.
I and some family members went through the Immigration nightmare procedures. I am grateful to have the chance to obtain privilege to live in this magnificent country.
Only country in the world where people can be illegal, without proper ID of their status - the result of inefficient bureaucrats running immigration asylum.
I am trying to propose engineer’s solution to the problems, only to be called Nazi???
I just wish that people would READ the article, try to digest it and offer comments or better solutions than calling me names.

Reusing the script from President Reagan's biggest mistake. I have a better idea. Deport them all. No exceptions. If they leave on their own before arrest, they can keep any of their stuff that they take with them on their way out; otherwise the deportation and court costs are taken from their possessions.
Future illegals? Nope. No amnesty. Ever. We fell for that one once, and that's one too many times. We need 12 million deportations to start (not really - after a few hundred thousands, those criminals will go home on their own, and we'll have the resources to focus on the much smaller number of hard-core criminals who insist on staying). Then we can count how many are left and deport them too. Finish the job.
Screw that, we already know they are criminals. Shut down criminal migrants, and then we can open up LEGAL IMMIGRANTS.
Deport the bastards, one and all.
A better solution would be for them all to go home where they belong. Today. Right now. This minute.
