The Worst Enemy of Black People

The Worst Enemy of Black People

Malcolm X was a Muslim minister and human rights activist. Born in 1925, he met his death at the hands of an assassin in 1965. Malcolm X was a courageous advocate for black civil rights, but unlike Martin Luther King, he was not that forgiving of whites for their crimes against black Americans. He did not eschew violence as a tool to achieve civil and human rights. His black and white detractors accused him of preaching racism and violence. Despite the controversy, he has been called one of the greatest and most influential black Americans.

Many black Americans have great respect for Malcolm X. Many schools bear his name, and many streets have been renamed in honor of him, both at home and abroad. But while black Americans honor Malcolm X, one of his basic teachings goes largely ignored. I think it's an important lesson, so I will quote a large part of it.

Malcolm X said: "The worst enemy that the Negro have is this white man that runs around here drooling at the mouth professing to love Negros and calling himself a liberal, and it is following these white liberals that has perpetuated problems that Negros have. If the Negro wasn't taken, tricked or deceived by the white liberal, then Negros would get together and solve our own problems. I only cite these things to show you that in America, the history of the white liberal has been nothing but a series of trickery designed to make Negros think that the white liberal was going to solve our problems. Our problems will never be solved by the white man."

There's a historical tidbit that those much younger than I (almost 83 years old) are ignorant of. In black history, we have been called -- and called ourselves -- several different names. Among the more respectable have been "colored," "Negro," "black," "Afro-American" and "African-American." I recall when Mrs. Viola Meekins, when I was a student at Stoddart-Fleisher Junior High School in the late 1940s, had our class go page by page through a textbook and correct each instance in which Negro was printed with a lowercase "n." In Malcolm X's day, and mine, Negro was a proud name and not used derisively by blacks as it is today.

Malcolm X was absolutely right about our finding solutions to our own problems. The most devastating problems that black people face today have absolutely nothing to do with our history of slavery and discrimination. Chief among them is the breakdown of the black family, wherein 75 percent of blacks are born to single, often young, mothers. In some cities and neighborhoods, the percentage of out-of-wedlock births is over 80. Actually, "breakdown" is the wrong term; the black family doesn't form in the first place. This is entirely new among blacks.

According to the 1938 Encyclopaedia of the Social Sciences, that year only 11 percent of black children were born to unwed mothers. As late as 1950, female-headed households constituted only 18 percent of the black population. Today it's close to 70 percent. In much earlier times, during the late 1800s, there were only slight differences between the black family structure and those of other ethnic groups. In New York City in 1925, 85 percent of kin-related black households were two-parent households. Welfare has encouraged young women to have children out of wedlock. The social stigma once associated with unwed pregnancy is all but gone. Plus, "shotgun" weddings are a thing of the past. That was when male members of a girl's family made the boy who got her pregnant live up to his responsibilities.

The high crime rates in so many black communities impose huge personal costs and have turned once-thriving communities into economic wastelands. The Ku Klux Klan couldn't sabotage chances for black academic excellence more effectively than the public school system in most cities. Politics and white liberals will not solve these and other problems. As Malcolm X said, "our problems will never be solved by the white man."

Per usual, Walter Williams succinctly captures the essence of the racial problem!

Can you say: "Thank you LIEberals?"

Can you say: "Thank you Democrats?"

Can you say: "Thank you LBJ?"

Can you ask: "Is there a way that we Americans can work together to solve this problem?"

This problem HAS to be solved!

I am 77 years old, and I honestly believed, before I encountered Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton et al, that the problem would be solved in my adult lifetime.

It has gotten worse!

Solution?

Anyone?

I always love hearing Walter Williams when he fills in for Rush. Yes, I like the personal responsibility stuff he says with a lot of economic data from his training. But I also like his humor, such as when he claims young women in the gym ask him (a man in his 80’s) to work out without his shirt. :)

It’s timing. When should the POTUS bring this up? In my opinion ONE of the 3 Presidential debate subjects in 2020 should be solely on the subject of racism. Trump commands it and the media plays along knowing they will be squished like a bug-along with the Democrats. U no u can run but not hide.

If they want people’s votes, they need to be needed, to have people think they’ll solve problems ... not to actually solve problems. The American people in general are looked at by those in the DNC proper, those of any importance, with a combination of condescending pity and naked hunger to devour.

There is a way to start the process over again and that’s public education. It’s time to be recognized that the major problems are happening in the areas of liberal control.

I find it frustrating that even though the blacks are so beholding to the white democrats, the dems are the major reason they are as they are in so many places.

Southern dems have been advocates of racial control for a couple of hundred years. They voted against the civil rights acts in the 60’s en force. They were the majority of the slave holders in our history. A vast majority of the problems concerning racial division, to include the violence, are in liberal controlled areas. The southern states even created the Jim Crow Laws that were directly racially dividing that are still being blamed by groups like the activist ACLU for legitimate black crime today. Yet the blacks in the US continue to support the libs.

https://www.npr.org/2012/01/16/145175694/legal-scholar-jim-crow-still-exists-in-america

And when Islam started to grow in the US starting in the 60’s, it became a plague for the black citizens. Malcolm X was shot to death by Nation of Islam members while speaking at a rally of his organization in New York City.

https://www.history.com/this-day-in-history/malcolm-x-assassinated

Dr. King was killed by someone. The family, even 50 years later, are saying it was not JR Ray. And he was a convict who followed liberals in the south.

https://www.history.com/news/who-killed-martin-luther-king-james-earl-ray-mlk-assassination

Today’s activist like Jackson and Sharpton are not leaders, they are vultures not caring to find the truth, but to place blame in the best interest of their color. And they even try to keep themselves separated by being, so called, religious leaders, while ignoring the crime areas predominantly black on black like in Chicago.

The Obamas were part of it. Concerning Chicago, “The president also came here, meeting with kids involved in a mentoring program for at-risk adolescent boys, bemoaning gun violence and telling a crowd on the South Side, “Our streets will only be as safe as our schools are strong and our families are sound.” And this Obama solution was instrumental in the school shootings at Parkland, Florida.

Change needs to happen. But until the color barrier established by both is set aside, and a legitimate effort by both is done to meet half way on theologies not color and not with concessions but asserted decisions, it is going to continue. And the media is the biggest player of them all as they have supported it long before most of the current problem children were born, either side thjey established.

” Malcolm X was a courageous advocate for black civil rights, but unlike Martin Luther King, he was not that forgiving of whites for their crimes against black Americans. He did not eschew violence as a tool to achieve civil and human rights.”

And his heir, Farrakhan, has continued that policy.

“Solution?

Anyone?”

Seaparation. How many more decades of evidence worldwide do we need to convince both sides that blacks and whites simply cannot peacefully coexist together?

Walter Williams fails to mention that Malcom x himself was for separation, as was Lincoln.

We have to find a way for a peaceful separation. This marriage ain’t working and it’s never going to work for very fundamental reasons that are obvious to anyone who spends 5 minutes honestly thinking about it.

GREAT MEME!

Somehow or another, however, the TriLateral Commission, Republican Establishment, Council on Foreign Relations, Planned Parenthood, Morris Dees and the SPLC and the NAACP were left off.

There may be others!

I believe Mr. X was assassinated because, ultimately, he had turned away from the Nation of Islam and had become more peaceable. He basically became an apostate in the view of hardline Moslems, and they believe in putting apostates to death.

I think we can, as long as we all follow Christ, and, more importantly, we’re allowed to peaceably, on an individual basis, associate with whom we please. That means tossing out the “public accommodations” portion of the Civil Rights Act, just like the monstrous Jim Crow laws were done away with before then. Racial discrimination should only be overridden in the case of genuine emergencies (house on fire, person is starving, etc.)

Of course, the following Christ provision is the first and main thing, and we as a society seem to be doing that less and less.

That is not acceptable; we’ll have constant warfare, but we seem to have that now.

Kinda like the Old Testament style tribal warfare that still plagues mankind.

You’d think that after 6,000 years of “progress” we’d have figured out how not to kill each other because of some accident of birth, wouldn’t you?

Perhaps if we could ID the Hitler’s, Mussolinis, Ho Chi Mins, Tojos, Pol Pots, Stalins, Castros, Maos, Mugabes, Milosevecs, Husseins et al way ahead of time and takem out, some of this could be prevented?
