Jerry Pournelle (RIP, I still miss him) used to refer to him as The Egregious Frum. Frum is a guy who viciously attacked and marginalized anyone on the Conservative side who tried to question going into Iraq post-9/11. This is not a man of great wisdom.

We don’t care anymore. No more “honorable” Bushes, Doles, and McCains required. We have our own souls to maintain, and have role models, such as Christ, the saints, thinkers, people we’ve met, etc.

A president is a functionary, with duties defined in the Constitution. When you get surgery, you don’t care if the doctor sends “mean” tweets. You want him/her to succeed, to win. We want Trump to win against the Swamp, against illegals, against warmongers, against media liars like Frum. Don’t care about anything else.
