My son got one of these recently. As proof he doesn’t watch porn, he laughed about it and sent the email to everyone in the family.
They’ve upped the ante since I got a similar email a few months ago. That one threatened to send all my contacts video of me watching porn on my computer (BWAHAHA!) if I didn’t send something like $250 in bitcoin.

I got the lazy version of that yesterday... They didn’t have any old hacked Facebook or other Social Media passwords of mine, or my real name like some of the messages have. They wanted $1000 in bitcoin from me
Plus I don’t have any webcam, and the cameras on my smart phone are taped over, so that part would be an impossibility.
Reporting it to the FBI would be a waste of time. I checked mine out carefully and the sending email account was a hacked computer in Brazil, but the originating IP was in Algeria... so likely the money would be going into some terrorist bitcoin account.
The scheme isn’t new... has been running around for about 6 months.
Reply back saying it’s not “watching porn” its “reading erotica”...
If the FBI takes it seriously, unless they have other calls ahead of yours, they would probably want to look at your computer for evidence.
