Details about Scotts disappearance have been slow to surface. Montanas Department of Justice confirmed Friday that it issued a missing or endangered person advisory on Dec. 26, the day the FBI requested one, which was nearly two weeks after Scott went missing. The Bureau of Indian Affairs had entered Scott into the missing persons database Dec. 13, meaning she was in the system, but her disappearance wasn't broadcast to the media until the day after Christmas. The advisory ended Dec. 27. Local, non-federal, law enforcement officers werent familiar with the specifics of the report Friday.

Agreed, it’s a shame about this gal.
They had a gal go missing around here, years ago.
Asked for the public’s help in finding her.
Of course, they left out the little fact that they in fact knew what direction she went.
So how many volunteers were all looking in the wrong place?
Oh, no.
So sad. She was a pretty little girl. If she was found that close to a house, I don’t think she was lost. So this leaves murder. May God rest her soul, and may the police find her killer.
Tribal police...may or may not care.
Which stories? I'm interested.
It’s ok. Your recollection is inaccurate and not a spoiler in any way.
Wind River was not so good. Bad guys were all the same. Government. Then there was the shootout between security(federal contractors) and local cops. Can’t see it coming to that.
Tribes also have their own law enforcement officers....

I think your calculator might be broken.
Easy...1023/1024
‘The Blessing Way’ and ‘Dance Hall of the Dead’ would be his first two.
His stories feature Navajo Tribal policeman. And you will learn more about the culture and religious beliefs of the Navajo and other Indians than you ever imagined existed.
If you use Amazon or Kindle you might want to try one from Audible.com. I enjoy listening to them while I’m busy doing something else.

It sure is. Wouldn’t let me read the story until I let them run ads - so I let them run ads and they STILL wouldn’t let me read the story.
Were you watching it as documentary or as entertainment? As entertainment it was very good movie.
Here’s a list, many of which I read and they’re all good as I remember, it’s been a while back.

Oops I think I flipped it
Thanks for the correction, LOL. I’ll have that removed.
And who would have a better chance of inducing a young tribal girl into his (or her?) car than a tribal cop?
