I recall that Trump was really scoping out publicly the idea to run in 2012. Perhaps that meeting you speak of was held then. Perhaps they determined that 2012 was too soon. The American People may not have been thoroughly sick of the Derp nonsense yet... and like puppies, had to have their noses rubbed in it a few times more. Just a thought.
