understood.
in the old days when BSA was a respectable organization,
it rarely had serious problems with its scoutmasters/adults...
when a problem arose, BSA would act fast to fix it...
and if there was any concern that the adult would bother the boys any further, said person was either removed from BSA or else at least he was removed from close contact with the boys (maybe given a desk job ...)
I know a life-long scouting leader, gave maybe 50 years to scouting in all sorts of capacities, roles....and today he can’t stand BSA....just mention BSA and he starts almost frothing at the mouth with anger
it hurts to see a good organization rotted out like this
