I’ve been posting videos of old small stories of Henry Livingston from the New-York Magazine, that were in 13 year old Clement Moore’s library, since Moore’s father subscribed.

“Journal of Alexander the Great” (1793) - always my favorite - to art and illustrations (remember people finding old Watson stories of Sherlock Holmes in an attic trunk? Henry was doing it way back then.)

“Astronomical Intelligence” (1789) - thru a telescope whose lens was carved from ice from the River Volga, the astronomer describes the culture seen on the various planets. - to the scan of the story. Note the comments on love can’t exist without equality of the sexes.

Trump foes scrambling to derail ‘cruel’ rule requiring immigrants to show they aren’t public burden

FTA:
The Homeland Security Department’s proposal would add food stamps, public housing and long-term institutionalized care to the list of potential public charge grounds. Disaster relief, assistance to immigrants serving in the armed forces or their families, and emergency medical care would not count against an immigrant.

The changes would save the government nearly $20 billion over the next decade, the administration calculated, based on immigrants it says would shy away from claiming benefits for fear of poisoning their future status.
