A dispute involving employees at a DeKalb County Chinese restaurant and a diner who allegedly skipped the bill ended in a triple shooting Wednesday night, police said.
Two employees of the China Cafeteria on Rainbow Drive followed after a diner who “left without paying for food,” DeKalb police spokesman Sgt. J.D. Spencer told AJC.com.(snip)
The argument spilled over to the parking lot of a Burger King on Candler Road south of I-20, about a block away from the Chinese restaurant.
“During the fight, one of the employees left and retrieved a firearm and subsequently all three individuals suffered gunshot wounds,” Spencer said in a statement.
The employee who allegedly fired the shots was identified as Xin Xing Chen, of Norcross, by Channel 2 Action News. Police told the news station he shot his coworker by accident.
He is charged with aggravated assault, according to DeKalb County Jail records.
The incident is still under investigation.

Chinese don’t like being f****ed with. They will put up with endless insults or chaos around them, but when you start stealing directly from them - all bets are off.

If the “diners” are black, I can only imagine the cognitive dissonance when the Left hears this story. Apparently, this Chinaman hasn’t heard about Honorary White Privlege.
Right up there with turnstile jumping to get on the subway/metro without paying. (Approved by liberal city councils everywhere.)
I imagine the days of being able to enjoy your meal and then pay the bill are coming to an end, much like the days of paying for your gas after you pumped it in your car did 20 years ago.
There is a really good Chinese take-out place a block away.
It is also a block away from the pretty good local PD.
The lady that runs the place is really nice but I can’t see her taking anything from anybody. I’d rather not chance it myself.
Besides that place makes the best crab rangoon in town.
Certain people think they’re entitled to free food due to what happened to their ancestors or something.

Michael: Well I can, but I will have to come back later tonight and pay you. But the point is I did the right thing.

Michael: I am not. I just have had a bad day. And I... okay. I’ll be back later with the money. I’m just gonna leave right now.
Waiter: You can’t. We’ll stop you.
Michael: Well, I think I can get through the door.
That can be assumed since there was no description of the victim or his name.
I’m surprised that the local Chinese buffet we frequent doesn’t make everyone pay as they go in. After all, other than the drinks, the bill is essentially the same for everyone.
I’ve seen the waitresses there run outside after people who try to D&D, even for the $6.99 lunch buffet.

Some here make you pay up front.
They’ll shoot you for asking for a substitution too. “Can I get an egg roll instead of the egg drop soup?” “No substitutions. You don’t read sign?” (Reads sign) “Cusuma requesting substitutions will be shot on sight.”
I know the owners of a local Chinese restaurant. The scam they see from certain people is a little different. The customers will finish eating and then tell the cashier they weren’t satisfied with the food and won’t pay. They just leave with no tip. Needless to say neither the owners or waitresses want their business. My daughter used to work as a hostess at a Chinese restaurant, seating arriving customers. Some waitresses would ask her not to seat certain people in their area.
