Some 252 million years ago, Earth almost died.
In the oceans, 96 percent of all species became extinct. It’s harder to determine how many terrestrial species vanished, but the loss was comparable.
This mass extinction, at the end of the Permian Period, was the worst in the planet’s history, and it happened over a few thousand years at most — the blink of a geological eye.
On Thursday, a team of scientists offered a detailed accounting of how marine life was wiped out during the Permian-Triassic mass extinction. Global warming robbed the oceans of oxygen, they say, putting many species under so much stress that they died off.
And we may be repeating the process, the scientists warn. If so, then climate change is “solidly in the category of a catastrophic extinction event,” said Curtis Deutsch, an earth scientist at the University of Washington and co-author of the new study, published in the journal Science.

Notice they don’t use meteorologists as sources. What does an “Earth scientist” know about climate change? Man was not even alive 232 million years ago.

So globull warming is claimed to have happened before, and it was baaaad. What caused it? People from Atlantis driving trucks and suvs, heating and cooling their homes, jet plane travel?
What caused the previous Roman or Medival warm periods, just to name two, that were warmer than today?
Is hoax is anti-science. If there was really threat, these folks would be last to understand it. And, money would be better spent adapting, exploring, doing real science.
Living in tiny, crowded urban apartments without powered transportation is not living, may be existing, but not living and that is what these nuts are seeking. Serfs crowded into dense urban centers consuming little of anything - little more than slaves to the elites.

Sudden warming was probably an asteroid that punch a hole that started the volcanic eruptions. Or a UFO crashing....
So want caused this? I am guessing the “scientists” are being paid to say global warming and are trying to convince us we can be the cause next. No cars or people back then is the problem. Not all the cars running in China could cause what one volcano can do let alone one the size of siberia.
They will twist into a pretzel to tie us to that event.
Maybe if we drill into the Super volcano called Yellowstone we can recreate what happen. In the meantime computer simulations are reduced to garbage in garbage out.
