Golden Globes Nominations: 'Vice' Leads With 6, 'Versace' Tops TV With 4

The 2019 Golden Globes nominations were announced Thursday morning.

Vice leads the film nominees with six, followed by The Favourite, Green Book and A Star Is Born with five apiece.

On the TV side, The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story leads with a total of four Golden Globes nods.

Th Golden Globes nominations announcement took place one month before the awards ceremony Jan. 6.

Terry Crews, Danai Gurira, Leslie Mann and Christian Slater announced the 2019 Golden Globes nominees live from the Beverly Hilton Hotel. Also on hand were Isan Elba, Golden Globe Ambassador; Meher Tatna, HFPA president; and Barry Adelman, executive producer and executive vp television at Dick Clark Productions.

Keri Russell has come a long way from “Felicity” and the scandal of cutting her hair. And a Mickey Mouse Club alumni too who is doing well..

I never even heard of her until “The Americans”——recommended by a daughter and I was hooked.

Boy, I am out of touch. I usually keep up with many of the movies and shows. I am going to have to kick it up before Christmas. None of the recent movies have had much appeal. Creed was good, but that’s about it.

Versace was good, but Trust was better. Of course taking place in 1973 Trust had the benefit of a fantastic soundtrack.
