An Australian politician known for her staunch anti-immigration policy has praised a remote Indian island tribe for defending their way of life after reportedly killing an American missionary with bows and arrows earlier this month.
Sen. Pauline Hanson, of the countrys One Nation Party, filed a motion on Tuesday calling for the Senate to "support the desire of the Sentinelese people to protect their culture and way of life, Australias ABC News reported.
"I for one will not be condemning the Sentinelese as racist for keeping their borders closed, nor will I condemn them for their lack of diversity, Hanson said.

If you just look at the mess that the kid created...you shake your head. I would leave his remains on the island (as is). This tribe was there before the Romans, before Jesus, and probably there long before Siberians crossed over to Alaska and became American Indians. Let them be as they are.
And in all that time, the Islanders have developed an excellent Border Patrol, and done so for a very low cost.
The sad truth is that these believers actually think God will protect them like Paul. But His protection is random.
Ha!
I’m good with what the Sentinelese did, too.
They made it pretty clear that he wasn’t wanted, and only killed him after he made multiple attempts at invading their island.
Pretty tolerant, actually.
I’d vote for her.
God is everywhere.
God created everything, including this island & the inhabitants.
God gave us Jesus to tell us His Word.
How come the people who wholeheartedly believe the above cannot grasp the fact that God knew all along WHERE these natives are, and that they are fine with whatever ‘God’ they believe in.
This isn’t a case of Satan, as some have suggested. It is only a case of remote people who don’t participate in the ‘modern world’.
They don’t have to deal with lying politicians or fake news media. They don’t have to worry about having a job or paying taxes.
Who says they have it so bad??
God has been taking care of them for a very long time.
LEAVE THEM ALONE.
If I remember my history correctly, both Japan and the hermit kingdoms of Korea were “opened” because they were found to be executing visitors and shipwrecked sailors in the 1800s.
So what would be the difference here.
