Maybe my memory isn’t clear, but how could he have known at that time years ago, that there would be a President Trump at some point in the future?
Q may say Gowdy is a patriot. That leads me to think about what it means to be a patriot. Gowdy may love his country, as many do, but DS may still have something on him which, at times, causes him to take DS positions over patriot positions. I see him choosing DS positions too often, in an effort to appear “fair and balanced”. For now, I just don’t see him (or Sessions) as Q does.

He asks why did Roberts go political on Trump now? It seems to me the ones who have generally gone that way the most pointedly are the ones at the most legal jeopardy, should Trump get the truth out on them. We’ve understood Roberts to be compromised, with the threat against him being that he would lose his illegally adopted children otherwise, but is this a hint that deeper crimes against Roberts could be exposed — presenting the GOP’s beefed up Senate with an opportunity to get a replacement through in the next two years?

Gowdy needs to get after Ivanka to exonerate her and to defuse the democrat bomb throwing that Hillary Rotten can’t be prosecuted when Ivanka was never investigated “for doing the same thing”.
Well, it’s NOT the same thing, not even close. Regarding Ivanka’s personal email:
* She did not create a private server in her house or office
* There was never classified information transmitted
* The account was never transferred or housed at Trump Organization
* No emails were ever deleted
* The emails have been retained in the official account in conformity with records preservation laws and rules
* Used her personal email during the presidential transition phase when WH email accounts were new and she had not been briefed on WH email usage
So Trey will bring all that out, will determine Ivanka did nothing wrong, exonerate her and all other WH staffers in the same situation, then release a statement that Hillary Rotten’s email usage is of a different character altogether.
Because we know Rotten will be cackling about why she’s such a victim when Ivanka was also doing it.
So Ivanka will need to be on the hot seat for a spell so that Rotten can’t divert serious attention in that direction.
Gotta wonder. What is Gowdy planning to do? I think Gowdy has too much faith in the DOJ though. We all have our blind spots.
