I spent some time this morning posting some articles and then some back and forths with freepers.
I’m sickened at the #^@*ing blind idiocy and shamelss vitriolic hatred of Sessions out there in freepdom.
I think I’ll stick to the Q nation threads. Now I’ve been told to shut up by several freepers, and many of these freepers I have had decent exchanges with in the past.
What has happened? Why do so many decent humans believe the lies of the media, which include plenty of conservative (whatever that means now) writers?
I just do not get it.

This battle is as much a PR battle as a legal one.
We need a LE takeover of Broward and Palm Beach election offices, with the visual of uniformed officers removing the Democrat hacks from the premises.
If there was any violations (even if just resisting leaving), the visual should be of those two being perp walked out into a police vehicle.

I would back you up with one caveat. It was not honorable when Sessions knew he would recuse and wanted the job so badly that he didn’t tell Trump he would be recusing. That was selfish on Sessions’ part. He might have thought recusing himself was honorable, but he was absolutely morally wrong not to let Trump know in advance of taking the job, that Trump was not getting what Trump thought he was getting.

Now this is just a what if...but it would be nice!
Trump practically made a cottage industry out of criticizing Sessions.
It was to make a smokescreen to prevent the perps from realizing that the DOJ was on their trails. So Sessions had to publicly appear to be Dr. Do-Little with whom Trump was displeased. I am sure and certain that Sessions' recusal was known in advance and the entire thing with Trump being upset about it was part of the charade.
If I am proven wrong, I will admit it! :-)

What sacrifices? One would be tolerating and saying nothing about Trump's apparent criticism; another would be tolerating and not defending himself from not just criticism but outright hostility and character defamation from so many people.

Oh... I get it. Your statement was a “what if”.
A lot of those friends were avid Sessions supporters all along and even defended him against posters, who were against him. I know, because I was one.
But, when he so immediately recused himself it was a totla shock and seen as total betrayal, (never mind abandonment) of the POTUS, and a betrayal to us, who had defended his high principles. Sessions was the walk-away, to save himself, in a time when President Trump was in desperate need of a loyal Attorney General and in grave danger.
It was back then, when our hearts were in our throats, and the all the departments were still full of Obama political assassins, at Jusice and in the FBI, all setting RUSSIA COLLUSION traps for our new president. Sessions saved himself politically, but he paid a price when it was thought he may very well cost us the presidency in so doing.
Trump was livid at Sessions, but trapped by Paul Ryan and Mitch McConnell who forced him to keep Sessions. Sessions then offered his resignation. (Of course Trump could not accept it. Great timing, Jeff.)
Q came along and started to defend Sessions, but who was Q? Q was still a stranger, and Q didn’t arrive on the scene in time to undo the damage. It was to many Trump loyalists like hearing that old question, “ Are you going to believe ME, or your own lying eyes?”
In fact, truthfully, it was Q defending Sessions that hurt Q itself. Period.
Trump convincingly despised Sessions and there was not a shred of argument to the contrary, or that could excuse Sessions behavior. Q was not enough to change the obvious, of what normies saw as abandonment at best and betrayal at worst.
Let’s hope Sessions turns out to be the “Stealth Bomber”, but outside in the real world, even that remains to be seen, since they do not follow Q. Until that hour, there is no way that words will be enough for Sessions to ever redeem his reputation, not among the outside-Q crowd of Trump loyalists.
Arguing with them is always going to be a lost cause.
