Thankfully, one day we got a new mailman. There had been lots of complaints. The consensus was that he probably lost his job. I don’t think he could read very well.

We got mail delivered to us that belonged to three different neighbors. More than once for one neighbor. Ours went to a neighbor’s house once during that time. It apparently was a widespread problem. Not just our street.
