Charlene Flores last spoke with her husband over the phone before an emergency procedure to remove their unborn baby.
Elesandro Flores Jr. had gone home, at her urging, to make sure their daughters got to school on time. Charlene was admitted to Community Regional Medical Center in downtown Fresno in the early morning hours of Oct. 24, nearly a month and a half before their baby was due, because of pregnancy pains. The pain turned serious several hours later.
Elesandro wasnt able to speak with Charlene when he returned to the hospital. He heard a code-blue alert after her emergency cesarean section and watched nurses and doctors rush into Charlenes room.
Soon after, he learned his wife was dead.
Charlene leaves behind four girls: Lanyssa Vasquez, 12; Kiara Flores, 12; Adriene Flores, 8; and baby Quinn Flores, who remains in the hospitals neonatal intensive care unit.
[snip]
Her weakened heart put her at greater risk during pregnancy.
She chose the babys life over hers. She knew that was the case because the doctors told her, You have to sign this (authorizing the C-section) or your baby is not going to survive, so she signed it, Elesandro said of her final hours, and shes with God now. Shes happy
she could leave knowing she accomplished her goal, and our goal, together.

“Goddammit, we missed one!” - Planned Parenthood

Indeed they did. They’ll miss more than that come Judgement Day.
I read about this family a few days ago. Charlene had a pre existing heart condition and she had internal bleeding from the C section. Prayers sent for this family
I have a cousin named Nevaeh.
My niece has 2 girls. One is Heaven the other is Grace.
Not really that peculiar.
RIP.
To her husband, prayers to you and your family...
Brings tears to my eyes. I will be praying for the father, that he finds help in the Church and does what is right in the sight of the Lord. That is all that anyone can do. ...And pray for mercy and grace.
So, it can seem she did such a great thing but she also chose to get pregnant while having a heart condition? and in doing so leaves many young kids without their mom for life.
I know some women who have medical conditions and were told not to try to get pregnent and they listen to their doctors, otherwise they are rolling the dice and like this lady many times they lose and so do the kids.
to ‘remove’ an unborn baby?
how about, to deliver a baby in crisis? or just, to deliver the baby?
“So, it can seem she did such a great thing but she also chose to get pregnant while having a heart condition? “

The article explains they were ‘surprised’ with the pregnancy. It wasn’t planned. Most likely either the Pill didn’t work or the timing was off on her cycle.
Once they found out she was pregnant there was no question of carrying it or not. They looked at the pregnancy as from God. And it was.
