Quite a game. Eovaldi just served up a homer to Muncy to cinch the win for LA.
Amazing game.
Ended at 3:30 in Boston.
Muncy almost ended it three innings earlier...he saw Eovaldi really well tonight...he was the only one.
The funniest thing was though in his postgame interview he gave away that Rich Hill’s (tomorrow’s starter) nickname is Dick Mountain...
Didn’t know what the D stood for in D. Mountain.
Richard = Dick; Hill = Mountain
Damn funny. I’ll never watch Hill again without that coming to mind.
A long night for the Bostonians.
In the way of so many baseball nicknames though, the meaning of that nickname and how he got it would be funny as hell — but would not meet broadcast TV standards.

The first ever World Series doubleheader.
That was a big part of what made it so funny...National TV interview after his big walk off, and Muncy is going on about how they have Dick Mountain going tomorrow and how great Dick Mountain has been lately. Listening to it I thought “WTF” what’s he talking about!

Dodgers actually get two wins for the 18 inning game so it’s tied 2-2
