That Shep tried to blame his personal bete noir, Trump, is not surprising. What IS surprising is that fellow deep state lackey Chris Wallace actually grew a spine and called him out on it.
It was wonderful to watch! I never watch Shep intentionally but I still had it on after the news conference!
Chis Wallace would not let Shep’s statement blaming it on rhetoric stand!...thuogh he deplores the hateful rhetoric.

I saw that. Shep Smith was SO EAGER to tie this nutcase to Trump, and Chris Wallace wouldn’t let him get away with it. He pointed out, as I have said in recent days, that a Bernie Sanders supporter shot Rep. Steve Scalise. That does not make Sanders responsible. You can tell that Shep is DETERMINED to put the blame on Trump.
Chris Wallace would have b**ch-slapped Sheppie, except Sheppie would have liked it.
The only way Fox News will get the message is by turning them off.

What in god’s name does Shep have on the FOX organizations? There is no reason he should be on the air.
I will say one thing on behalf of Shep Smith. When Hurricane Michael was hitting the panhandle of Florida, he was on the air for a long time and did a terrific job on the story. He was ideally suited to cover it, having lived and worked in the area.
Can we link Shep’s rhetoric to the ricin attack on Shep target, Donald J. Trump?
Was Trump’s rhetoric also responsible for the shooting of Steve Scalise? Idiots.
I couldn’t believe it. First time I agreed with Chris in years. Shep couldn’t believe someone had the audacity to call him out. I’m pretty sure he had hands in hips stomping foot when camera was off.

I don’t understand that at all. You’ve got to know your target audience. And Shep is simply not a good fit with Fox’s conservative viewers. If I ran Fox, I’d “promote” Shep to some sort of off-camera position. Then wait until his contract expires.
The only thing the liberals say Trump is saying is calling CNN fake news.
They went nuts when he said anything about knocking the hell out of a protestor. While they say nothing when Dinero says he’d like to punch Trump in the mouth or Biden says he’d like to take him “behind the gym”.
Surely somebody beat the crap out of these two braggarts in their younger days..
