He should have had police protection (locals) as should his wife who is the Secretary of Transportation. Any threat to them is a federal threat and subject to investigation by both the FBI and Secret Service, plus local and state police.

After the shooting of Rep. Scalise and others, plus the physical attack on Sen. Paul, you would think that someone with half a brain at DOJ/FB/Sec. Service/Capitol Police etc. would suggest that they have armed protection 24/7.

This is threatening to him and his family. It is harassment. It is breaching the peace. These people are going to find a gun in their face and it would be justified.
Because the Louisville Metro PD is the personal tool of leftist loon mayor Greg Fisher. Louisville is the liberal mecca in Kentucky. Short of the protestor shooting McConnel, the police there wouldn’t bother to show up.
Then call the Sheriff. State Police? No other law enforcement agency in Mega City Louisville? I don’t know why some Republicans are afraid to use the tools for protection that every single municipality in the country affords them. If you are confounded by obviously biased bureaucrats, document it. Every phone is video camera.
