IMHO, the only way to make it right would be for the principle to step down.
I agree. An apology means nothing at this point. This is such a extreme violation of a student's first ammendment rights that the only equitable remedy is to make certain this administrator is never in a position to do this to another student.
This is America. We have the right to free speech.

I am sickened that you can’t wear a shirt supporting the actual current President. Can you IMAGINE if someone at a high school had ever been asked to remove an Obama jersey? The principal would have been fired the next day.
I wish this kid had 3 jerseys of Trump on over each other. So he pulls the first one off and the next one is under, etc.

Dad shouldn’t feel he is any hero. His attitude gave the school employees the authority to speak truth to power, and humiliate his son, which they did. Dad lost this battle.
Where I am, NO ONE knows who that POS Che was, so I tell a few of them, if they understand English.
Just to give you an idea of the ignorance I am up against, I get asked, is Sweden part of America, is Canada part of America, Is Europe part of America? That's what I deal with.
And this dad admits he’s a democrat. He sounds way too “reasonable” and compliant. What is WRONG with him? Stand up for your kid, man!

Even in the redist areas, there are always liberal numbers in the school system, state and local, and usually the school board. They are the ones who make sure the liberal propaganda stays in the schools.
